It all began in a small grocery across street where the one and only "Fried Banana" were maded and sold in an area - a perfected combination of coconut, fresh banana and saseme seed - remained everyone who tried of Thailand. They also admired our other homemade cookings like "Pad-Kra Prow" and "Papaya Salad." And there we decided to open frist restaurant, named after our daughter's name, Ayada. Our recipes were simply what we had in our childhood. Sitting on dinning table, surrounded by family members and enjoyed grandma’s signature meals rebounced in our memory and that makes us stick to that tradition. Panang Curry, for example, served in less sauce yet packed with flavor; Som Tom Thai ensured with richness in spices and sauce; Raw shrimp salad made sure served fresh from markets. We also well known for Kang Som curry and Crispy Red Snapper with green mango sauce. With all of those, plus a glass Coconut Mojito, Lemongrass Ayada, or bottles of Thai beers, we would guarantee everyone greatest meals.
This website tells parts of our story inside the picture frames, thanks to the photographers, Made Widyanetta and Henry Liu for the lovely pictures. Nonetheless, it is our cooking that would tell more of our story to all of our guests. From the family of our own to the family of Ayada team, we want to share this warm feeling to many families out there. Enjoy our family cooking.
